How does it work?

Win.ly works on some simple, basic facts:

A game that has fewer people playing it provides a better chance of winning a prize
A game with more prizes available will provide a better chance of winning a prize
A game that has fewer people playing it and more prizes available will have the best chance of winning a prize

We take these facts as a base and expand on them quite a bit--factoring in dollar value of prizes, frequency and duration of winning periods, and some other secret stuff, to create our system. Into Win.ly go all the of many prize games currently running, and out come a select few that are calculated as probably the best chance of winning the best prizes.

How do I use it?

We worked very hard to keep it very simple. After logging in, you will see a quick list of the top promotions right there. Just click on any prize game to popup some more details, and from there you can click through to register and try your luck.

You can also sort by type of promotion, viewing only sweepstakes, instant wins, contests and other.

Instant wins are the heart of win.ly, because you can take advantage of the improved odds immediately. The risk in sweepstakes and contests and other longer range prize periods is that the chances may be great now but if a lot of people come in after you, your chances go down.

And if you have a preference for Sweepstakes or Contests or Other, you are free to use the sort to go directly to those games.

What can't I do with this site?

The main thing we ask is that you don't republish or relay the information you get here. That's private property.

We also ask that if you visit any of the games listed in this site, that you do so in a civil manner and respect all the rules and regulations of the site.

What do those colored balls down the left hand side mean?

They're just a quick visual indicator of how the site is ranking. Green are the best, yellow are in the middle, and red are considered low.

In addition, the best of the green ones are indicated by being "on fire". These ones have odds of winning that are heads and shoulders above the norm.

Why do you even have a red icon?

As a service for people that are playing a lot of these each day. Since we have the information we figure we might as well display it so they can know what to avoid as well as knowing what to use.

Aren't I just asking to be spammed by registering for these games?

For the most part, no. U.S. law does not allow these sites to sell your email address or even email you directly if you have not checked a box (called an "opt in") that gives them the permission to do this. So just be careful while registering to make sure you don't give them permission unless you do want emails from them.

To be on the safe side, it is also recommended that you create a free email account to use for these, such as those provided by Yahoo, Google, etc.

How does the "Spread the Word" referral program work?

If you go to the "Spread the Word" Referral Program tab in your "My Account" section, there will be a url listed. It starts with http://win.ly and ends with five seemingly random numbers and letters.

This is your personal link back to Win.ly. Anybody who comes to Win.ly by clicking on that link and ends up registering for a paying premium account gets you one additional month of premium membership. So you can copy this into your forum signature, Tweet it, post it on Facebook, email to your friends, however you want to spread the word.

For your convenience, you can also use the "Share" button at the bottom of every page to spread the word. (Make sure you're logged in first!) Either way, the same benefits apply.

Why doesn't the site work with my old browser?

Win.ly has a really cool interface. It uses what's called "Web 2.0" technology. This means an easier and more intuitive way of viewing information and less sorting through and clicking on endless pages of links.

But older browsers don't always support this technology. Luckily, it's easy and free to upgrade to a newer browser.

We recommend Google Chrome or Firefox.

Why is the game I'm looking for not in the list?

That does happen. We have a system that scans the Internet to try to find all the games out there but it isn't always able to find everything.

So if you'd like, just email us (click on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page) and let us know about it and we'll add it in.

Why is there a registration and log in?

For a number of reasons. Not least of which is that if too many people are using this information then it will be self defeating. The whole point of getting good odds to win on a game is that not too many other people are playing. If this site sends tens of thousands of registrants to a site, then that advantage is gone.

Also, a large part of the power of the Win.ly Management Tool is the tracking of your plays and wins, which you'll need to be logged in for.

Wouldn't I do better by just playing all the prize games out there?

If you have that kind of time that's fine. Win.ly allows people to spend ten or so minutes each day and maximize the prizes they receive from that effort and avoid wasting time on games that are highly unlikely to ever win a prize.

Wouldn't I do better by using an auto register service?

There are numerous problems with automatic registration services. First of which being that you risk being disqualified, as the rules of every one of these games explicitly prohibit the practice.

Secondly, nearly every one of these games has controls and methods to detect these services and immediately ignore your registration.

So in the end, you're paying a big monthly fee to have your name and address sent to some number of games, which ones you never know, and having your name ignored by nearly all of them.

Why don't you print the exact odds?

We don't know the exact odds. We do know an estimate of which ones have better odds than another.

For example, if you happened to get inside information that in Casino A, slots players are winning two to four times more often than in Casino B, you would go to Casino A. This, even though you don't know the exact odds of winning or even a close estimate of the odds.

That's similar to Win.ly. There is too much information that is kept private to ever be able to calculate exact odds or even close estimates of odds of winning. BUT, the keyis that you can still make a really good estimate of which one has better odds of winning than another.
